Stop. Collaborate and listen. We've got a blog below with all the who, what, and how of promoting your partnerships with IG's Collab tag/label. And, while it hasn't been rolled out to the US yet, getting familiar with the tag will just help get you ahead of your digital planning.
How did you collab with partnerships on IG before?
You probably either tagged a brand or creator in your post caption and in the image, which is only seen if someone reads the entire post or clicks the image to see who might be tagged. Or, you used the branded content tag to show that a post was sponsored; however, only some creators are eligible to use this tag.
That leads us to our friend the Collab tag.
The Collab label gives you a unique option to be shown as a co-author of a post. Why is it great? Because the tagged collaborator will be instantly able to reshare the post on their own profile without having to use screenshots or third-party regram apps that can muddy the original content or cause headaches when the apps don’t talk to each other. And the added bonus? Any public account can use the Collab tag regardless of audience size.
