Mixing Up Your Content

Posting on social media is a free way to gain customers and business for your brand. It’s free advertising as you reach potentially hundreds or even thousands of customers and their friends. However, posting a rotation of the same old things over and over again will get boring for your followers and you’ll potentially lose business rather than build it. Don’t worry, we can help.

5 ways to mix things up:

1. Stir in Different Types of Content

Photos, sales posts, stats, and GIFs are all great types of content to post; but, if you’re only posting one type of stagnant content all the time you aren’t giving your followers much to follow and they’ll likely unfollow after a week, or two. Combine all the styles of posts into your content strategy from animated GIFs to infographics and singular images.

2. Share User-Generated Content

User-generated content is an easy and effective way to spotlight a raving review without much work since the images, reviews, or photos are already created for you. Plus, sharing user-generated content only encourages more people to share your product or services which helps you reach a broader audience.

Pro-Tip: Tag the users if posting as an image on your social.

3. Share Company News & Milestones

People love seeing the personal side of your brand because it gives your audience something to resonate with. So, share your company news and big milestones. It helps your followers feel connected with the brand as a community and a part of something bigger than themselves.

4. Mix in Industry News

You know you’re an expert in your field, but your followers, especially new ones might not. Instead of splashing sales-inspired “Why Me” posts all the time, mix in industry news that spotlights why your suggestions, brand, goods, or services are the right choice. For instance, a few of our brands offer services that have a higher rating than others, so we find articles that prove why one option is more successful than the other to help them get a step up on the competition.

5. Get Interactive

It’s one thing to comment on a post, but think of new ways to get interactive with your followers. Create a poll, ask questions, have followers ask questions about your brand or services, or go LIVE. These interactive posts allow you to not only engage your following but also help you to get better data about your following and their interests.
