You Have a Brand... Now What?

It’s an exciting time when you’ve made your idea a reality! But, now what? You may or may not have your logo designed, brochures at the ready or images handy for a social campaign. However, with so many different creative outlets and strategies to consider, where should you start?

Here’s our take on next steps:

1. Get Your Logo Together

If you haven’t already designed a logo, get brainstorming. Take a look at different logos you like or even don’t like. Make notes on what aspects you’re looking for to give to your designer. And, best of all take a look at our blog on what an eye catching logo should be composed of.

Pro tip: Make sure you have your logo in various formats and color combinations. You’ll be thanking us when it comes to social media profiles or printing needs.

2. Set Your Brand Standards

Having brand standards is a crucial step that is regularly overlooked. If you haven’t already check out our blog on why they matter, do so. In the meantime, consider what you want your brand to be portrayed as in terms of tone, style and colors. You want someone to know your brand at a quick glance.

Pro Tip: Take inspiration from famous brands like Adidas, McDonalds, Tour de France who have those one liners or color combinations that you immediately related to their product.

3. Get A Strategy in Process

You have a logo and brand standards and are itching to start posting. To the contrary of what you might be wanting to do, we suggest putting a plan in place before just blasting your social media. Be strategic with what and when you post. Need some help in planning? We can do that! Just get in touch with us to get you started on a 90-day plan.

4. Give Your Social Some TLC

Don’t just post and ghost. Take five to 10 minutes a day to respond to your commenters or network with potential followers, influencers or brand partners. It’s a great way to organically grow your following and show your followers you care about what they say and think about your brand.

5. Take Time and Review Analytics

Review. Review. Review! We can’t emphasize this step enough. It’s not enough to only have a plan, but you need to review how your previous strategies worked to achieve your goals. Without this crucial step, your marketing efforts can’t dynamically change to help grow your brand.

Pro Tip: Use each social media’s analytical tools to help you see those analytics at a glance or ask us to put together a full review so you know where to really put that marketing fund for the largest ROI.
